Nice to meet you!
While Living in Los Angeles, I had a calling to join seminary. I found out there was Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena California, not to far from where I lived. I have always wanted to help people. I thought this would be a great way to further my education, and grow. I moved to San Diego, and started volunteering at a church, and also worked at a church. When I came back to New Mexico, I did also work at a church. Part of my job, included funerals. I found that this space was more where I wanted to be. I was good at planning, anticipating ahead, and compassionate.
Since then I have gained a full experience, from planning end of life, to the last detail, of the headstone. I have walked many people through a door, and helped their loved ones carry out these final wishes. I have also stepped in, when individuals didn’t have anyone to carry those wishes out.
Things that are a value of mine, which I try to live by: being a person of your word, being honest, being compassionate, being dependable, and trustworthy.
Death. It’s an unusual thing. Not everyone feels comfort in talking about it, yet we will all experience it. I am here to help educate, comfort and make the experience of this topic easier for you.
I look forward to meeting you.
Consuelo
